Bediasite Tektites

This bediasite was reportedly found several decades ago, and it tips the scale at 49.2 grams.  It comes via Mr. and Mrs. Alex Stoltz, of S & K Gems & Lapidary.  Bediasites in this size range are in the top few percent of finds.

I was lucky to come across a collection of bediasites  found by a father and son team some years ago.  This 77 gram specimen is the largest bediasite they had found after several years of hunting:
