NWA 7634, carbonaceous chondrite
This ~850 gram carbonaceous chondrite is something of an enigma. The original classification was “CO3,” with a description that described it as anomalous. The O-isotope data for it placed it in no-man’s land between the CCAM and TFL, among a few other ungrouped carbonaceous chondrites.
The O-isotope data for the stone was later revised to suggest that it lies on the CCAM, and is otherwise a ~normal CO3.
I don’t know what this stone is, exactly, but it is a carbonaceous chondrite, and a pretty one.
The sawn face of the type specimen displayed chondrules more clearly than the sanded main mass.
