Richardton, H5
Richardton fell in North Dakota at 21:48 on 19 June, 1918. The bolide was seen up to 400 miles away, and sonic effects were heard as far as 250 miles from the fall location. A great paper describing the fall can be found here. An excerpt: Around 90 kilograms of stones were recovered from the ~ 9 by ~ 5 mile strewn field. Most of the recovered material remains in museums. The 185.2 gram part stone below came from an older collection. An iron vein crosses the fragment; it is most clearly visible as a raised line in the fusion crust — see the second image, top right.
