Sikhote-Alin Iron Meteorite Shower (Volumes I & II)

These extremely rare volumes contain a thorough account of the Sikhote-Alin meteorite fall and subsequent expeditions to the fall location.  Published in 1959 and 1963, they were authored by E. L. Krinov and V. G. Fesenkov.  These particular books come from the friendly correspondence between Dr. Lincoln La Paz and both bear inscriptions from Krinov, each dated at the time of publication:

“With great respect to prof. L. LaPaz with the best wishes from one of the authors 1 June, 1959 E. L. Krinov”

Each is also marked (signed) by La Paz on the inside front cover.
