St. Mark’s, EH5

This is another historic and fairly rare African meteorite from the collection of Gilbert Gauthier.  Here is an excerpt from A Cape Colony Meteorite, by Walter E. Besley:St. Mark’s is classified as an EH5, and is one of three witnessed falls of that classification.
