Vinales, L6

On February 1, 2019, eyewitnesses in Western Cuba saw a bright daytime fireball, followed by a spectacular persistent smoke train and deafening sonic booms.  The fireball and smoke trail were even caught on camera by at least one passenger on a nearby commercial airline flight:

Vinales was a truly massive meteorite fall.  Hundreds of kilograms of stones were picked up, ranging from pea-sized to 10 or more kilograms.  This is one of the nicer oriented stones I’ve seen from the event, and weighs about 40 grams.
