Mount Vernon, Pallasite

From O. C. Farrington’s 1915 Catalogue of the Meteorites of North America, to January 1, 1909. Despite its rather large total known weight, Mount Vernon is a pretty uncommon meteorite in collector circles.  Many thanks to Anne Black for making this specimen possible.
