Tulia (iron), Unclassified
Here’s an odd one! This meteorite is listed in the bulletin as an unclassified iron, and it’s easy to see why: it’s almost completely oxidized. Modern analytical techniques could probably get a decent analysis of the unoxidized metal grains in this, to put this meteorite into a formal group, but it’s listed as “iron,” for now.
Many thanks to Arnaud Mignan for making this unusual specimen available.
